Shade is a PB&J mini-production offered to schools as part of an educational package. The story focuses on a young man meeting a young lady in the park. He tries everything he can to win her affection, but the inhabitants of the park, including a crazy squirrel and a silly bird, stand in the way of his wooing!
In addition to the 20 minute performance, the actors from PB&J conduct a physical comedy workshop with students. The workshop gives the students insight into the PB&J process, and what tools it takes to put together a completely silent production. A truly unique experience for theatre students and teachers alike, this package is recommended for 5th grade through the collegiate level.
